Speeches count contributions in Plenary and committees, leaving out the Llywydd's and deputies' chairing. Votes cast are out of the votes held while the Member sat. Against party means voting for when most of the Member's own party voted against, or the other way round; abstaining doesn't count.

Statement by the Cabinet Minister for Finance: An Update on Council Tax

As a former councillor, I understand the financial pressures on councils in terms of delivering essential services, and, of course, we all understand the pressures on household budgets as well, and there's no doubt that council tax plays a part in those…

5. 19 October 2026, Public Accounts and Public Administration Committee

Scrutiny of Accounts - Welsh Government 2024-25: interim evidence session with Dr Andrew Goodall, Permanent Secretary - Welsh Government

Okay, diolch. Welsh Government accepted the predecessor committee's recommendation to provide information on the number of staff dismissed for poor performance and those placed on performance improvement plans. That information was promised by September, but…

Scrutiny of Accounts - Welsh Government 2024-25: interim evidence session with Dr Andrew Goodall, Permanent Secretary - Welsh Government

Okay. It's good there's assurance that that information is there, but it seems to have taken quite a long time to unpick this. When will we see that latest information published?
