Speeches count contributions in Plenary and committees, leaving out the Llywydd's and deputies' chairing. Votes cast are out of the votes held while the Member sat. Against party means voting for when most of the Member's own party voted against, or the other way round; abstaining doesn't count.

Public Services Ombudsman for Wales- Annual Report and Accounts 2025-26, and Estimate 2027-28: Evidence session

Another recommendation of this committee in the last Senedd was that the ombudsman improve the efficiency of processes for developing plans to undertake a greater number of own-initiative investigations. What progress has been made by the ombudsman in regard…

5. 8 October 2026, Finance Committee

Public Services Ombudsman for Wales- Annual Report and Accounts 2025-26, and Estimate 2027-28: Evidence session

I'll come to my other questions now. The previous Finance Committee recommended that you as an ombudsman undertake an anonymised profiling exercise to identify trends in terms of the language preference of complainants, to be published in the annual report…

6. 8 October 2026, Finance Committee

Public Services Ombudsman for Wales- Annual Report and Accounts 2025-26, and Estimate 2027-28: Evidence session

I'm going to speak in Welsh, if that's okay. Llais runs an advocacy service that deals with complaints. What impact does that have on the work that you receive? They are there to give people a voice. That is supposed to make the process easier, and people who…
