Will the Cabinet Minister provide a breakdown of whether private-sector employers in Wales is headquartered in Wales, elsewhere in the UK or outside the UK for the following enterprise sizes; micro (0–9 employees), small (10–49), medium (50–249) and large (250+)?

Data on employment in Welsh businesses by headquarters location is not currently published but could be requested from the Office for National Statistics.
Data on business ownership for UK and non-UK owned business is available in the size analysis of businesses by ownership data. We also produce data on foreign ownership by country on an ad-hoc basis, with the most recently published data covering 2024.
