What financial assistance has been given to private landlords whose properties normally house students but have became vacant, and are subject to council tax during this pandemic?

There are a range of statutory exemptions from council tax for empty properties, depending on the circumstances. Local authorities in Wales also have discretionary powers to reduce council tax bills for individuals experiencing hardship.
