Question
What discussions has the Minister had with local authorities about ensuring that financial support for businesses provided by councils is passed on to businesses that need it?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Economy
My officials have engaged with the WLGA and local authority colleagues to co-design the Economic Resilience Fund for businesses with an annual turnover below £85k. This part of the ERF is being delivered by the 22 Local Authorities, with a simple application process meaning that businesses are receiving their grants as quickly and efficiently as possible.
