Will the Minister state how much grant support the Welsh Government will make available in 2021/22 to help achieve a shelf-life of over 60 days for vacuum-packed and up to 110 days for CO2 gas flushed Welsh lamb?

Shelf life is one strand of five-year £9.2m Red Meat Development Programme funded through the EU and Welsh Government. Extending shelf life is a vital part of this research project and benchmarks supply chain and international comparisons to ensure that the lamb industry can extend the shelf life of lamb.
