Question
Further to the response in Plenary on 15 June 2021 regarding £750,000 of additional funding for alcohol and drug recovery services where £250,000 was allocated to Brynawel, will the First Minister outline where the remaining £500,000 has been spent?
Answer
Answered by First Minister (Mark Drakeford)
£750,000 was made available in 2020/21 to Area Planning Boards to support additional residential rehabilitation placements. In addition to the extra £250,000 utilised by Brynawel the remaining £500,000 was available to Area Planning Boards to support Welsh residents in placements to facilities on the Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Framework.
