Question
What is the Welsh Government's policy on managing national parks in Wales?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Climate Change
National Parks play important roles in both protecting and enhancing our environment and in promoting opportunities for the public to engage with some of our most iconic landscapes.
Welsh Government has provided significant extra funding and resources to National Park Authorities in recent years to strengthen and support their position in the delivery of priorities including nature recovery, addressing the climate emergency and widening access for people to enjoy green spaces.
