Question
Will the Welsh Government commit to adding the West Wales train line to the concessionary travel pass scheme for over 60s?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Climate Change
We do not currently plan to extend the over 60s concessionary travel beyond the current lines it is available on, which are Wrexham – Bidston and Conwy Valley during the whole year and Cambrian coast and Heart of Wales during the Winter months. This is due to a combination of the cost of administrating such a scheme and the available capacity on this route.
