Question
Will the Minister confirm whether the spatial data to be shared through the marine planning portal will include holistic mapping, including locational markers of tourism activity and fishing spots?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Climate Change
The Wales Marine Planning Portal provides freely accessible interactive online mapping of human activities and natural resources, including in relation to fisheries activity and tourism and recreation. Welsh Government continues to develop the Marine Planning Portal, updating and adding new data as the evidence base develops, including the tourism and fishing sectors.
