Question
Will the Minister provide an update on the progress of the learner transport review?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
From discussions and engagement with stakeholders as a part of the initial review undertaken in 2020/21, it became apparent that there are wider issues with the Learner Travel Measure’s current provisions that necessitate a further more detailed review. This is to take place this year.
We have commissioned a youth and community version of the report, which we expect to receive by the end of February. Both reports will then be published together.
