Will the Minister make a statement on the availability of routine blood tests in Newport?

NHS Wales, together with the NHS in the rest of the UK, has been managing a UK-wide supply issue to ensure Wales continues to have sufficient blood collection tubes for people who urgently need blood tests.
The measures already taken will ensure sufficient supplies for those with urgent clinical needs.
Officials are working with other UK nations to source clinically-suitable alternative products and ensure routine blood tests will become available again in Newport and across Wales as soon as possible.
