Question
Given that all 8 of the Randox fit-to-fly PCR test drop boxes are located in south Wales, what steps are the Welsh Government taking to ensure that the residents of north Wales also have access to this service?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Health and Social Services
While Welsh Government cannot dictate which services a private company wishes to deliver, we are working closely with UKHSA to ensure there is sufficient supply of COVID-19 travel tests for our residents across Wales. Randox is one of several hundred private test providers listed on GOV.UK.
