Question
What consideration has the Minister given to helping NHS dental providers in Wales to improve ventilation within practices to help reduce waiting times for treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Health and Social Services
Welsh Government has provided Health Boards with £450,000 to help support dental practices providing NHS services to install new ventilation equipment. This was aimed at reducing fallow time and increasing the number of patients being treated. Funding was allocated on a proportional basis to Health Boards with most providing a level of match funding.
