How many patients in Wales have required intensive care treatment due to the Omicron variant since the variant was detected in Wales?

Public Health Wales are analysing this data to bring it into their regular reports.
Public Health Wales recent analysis showed that as of the week ending 9 January 2022, 10 people have been admitted to critical care within 28 days after testing positive for the Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2. It is not possible to confirm whether they were admitted to critical care due to COVID-19.
