Question

What discussions has the Welsh Government had with their UK counterparts regarding any potential impacts on UK Covid vaccination passes for international travel as a result of new European Union rules that evidence of vaccination will expire after 270 days following the last dose, to be introduced on 1 February 2022?

Answer

Answered by Minister for Health and Social Services

Officials have been in discussion with the UKG about the impacts on the Covid vaccination pass as a result of the new EU rules.

I am pleased to confirm that from 3rd February, all children aged 12 -15 will also be able to get a digital NHS COVID Pass for international travel.
