Will the Minister commit to ensure that a permanent National Clinical Lead for Eating Disorders is appointed to drive forward improvements?

We are committed to securing the right approach to drive forward improvements in Eating Disorder Services. Officials are working with the NHS Collaborative to consider options to strengthen the clinical leadership going forward.

We will also be increasing our investment in Eating Disorders Services in 2022/23 as part of the additional £50 million that we have secured in the draft budget for mental health and well-being.
