Question
How is the Welsh Government involving local communities, businesses, and the tourism sector in its plans to develop a strategic plan for the future energy grid to 2050?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Climate Change
We are currently working with the Energy Systems Catapult to identify the key organisations and individuals to form a stakeholder group to support the development of a strategic plan for the future grid in Wales. Our aim is for the group to represent all sectors where the project as a whole may have an impact. We intend for this group to be in place this spring, in time to consider the draft set of assumptions that will guide the programme.
