Question
How many hectares of land were accepted for planting following a successful Glastir Woodland Creation application under application windows 10 and 11 and what proportions of each of these areas relate to applications made on behalf of applicants with addresses outside Wales?

For Glastir Woodland Creation windows 10 and 11, a total of 203 Expressions of Interest (EOI) applications were selected, covering 3,005 hectares of proposed new planting.
Of these, 22 EOIs, covering 720 hectares, have correspondence addresses outside Wales. This equates to 24% of the proposed new planting area in Wales from these application rounds
No land has so far been accepted for planting, as Woodland Management Plans are being considered and verified by Natural Resources Wales, before the Welsh Government issues a contract for planting.
