Answer
Answered by Minister for Economy
Welsh Government supports businesses and their employees to train and retrain, via our Business Wales service, providing dedicated support to assist SMEs referral to the wider Skills Gateway.
Our Flexible Skills Programme also specifically offers a match-funded training grant, available to all employers in Wales.
In addition, work-based learning is available through our £366m all-age apprenticeship programme providing 125,000 starts during the current term of government. Our Apprenticeship Vacancy Service offers a One Stop Shop service that allows employers and individuals to advertise and access a wide range of opportunities on offer in Wales.
We plan to launch our new ‘Jobs Growth Wales plus’ programme during April 2022.
