Question
What discussions has the Welsh Government had with Bridgend County Borough Council about upgrading the junction between Simonston Road and Coychurch Road?

The junction is part of the local road network and therefore the responsibility of the local authority.
In 2017/18 the local authority received funding for an active travel scheme on Coychurch Road and in 2018-19 received funding for surveys / design for a Heol Simonston/Coychurch Road Junction Improvement Scheme. We have not received further applications from the local authority in relation to the junction.
