Is the Minister aware of when bereaved families will hear from Swansea Bay University Health Board and Hywel Dda University Health Board on the results of their investigations into hospital-acquired infections?

The health boards across Wales are recruiting staff to support the investigation and learning from cases of nosocomial COVID-19. Once trained, they will progress the contact with families and individuals.
Health boards are working with the NHS Delivery Unit to ensure there is a consistency of approach. Hywel Dda University Health Board expects to be in a position to start to communicate with families by June 2022. Swansea Bay University Health Board is aiming to take a public paper to its Board meeting on 26 May, and to communicate with families from that point onwards.
