Question
What, if any, discussions has the Welsh Government had with Bridgend County Borough Council regarding funding to alleviate the traffic and parking problems outside Tremains Primary School?
Declared interest
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
This is an issue for the local highway authority and school to resolve. The Welsh Government has not had any discussions regarding funding outside Tremains Primary School.
However, we are looking to introduce legislation to deal with the issues caused by pavement parking, which will help alleviate these situations outside schools.
