Question
Following a two-month moratorium in relation to 20mph zones from 29 February 2022, has the Welsh Government issued any guidance or instructions to community speedwatch teams to reconvene their monitoring of these areas?

Community Speedwatch (CS) is part of the community engagement process for 20 mph in each of the Phase One areas across Wales. However, as these settlements are areas we are learning from, speeds are first being assessed without any interaction other than signs and lines. Then various methods of enforcement including CS are then being trailed after drivers have had time to adjust to the new speed limit.
