Question
What steps is the Welsh Government taking to ensure that bus stops have basic facilities, such as shelters, seating and timetable information?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
We have provided capital funding to local authorities to improve passenger facilities at bus stops and key interchanges across the bus network. These improvements included new bus shelters, electronic information displays, and accessibility improvements at key stops. Last financial year we provided £14m to local authorities through the Local Transport Fund to improve bus stops and associated infrastructure across Wales.
