Question
How many discussions has the Welsh Government had with Transport for Wales regarding the expected overspend on the South Wales Metro?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
There are regular and ongoing discussions at Ministerial and Official level between the Welsh Government and TfW to consider options to minimise the increased costs faced on the Core Valley Lines Transformation Project whilst still delivering a modern, integrated transport system which transforms the way in which we travel. No decisions have yet been taken
