Answer
Answered by Minister for Education and the Welsh Language
The Anti-racist Wales Action Plan launched on 7 June contains a number of actions for education. These include the strengthening of our ‘Rights, Respect, Equality’ anti-bullying guidance, and strengthening data collection and reporting of racist incidents and harassment in schools in Wales; focus on youth work; embedding an understanding of anti-racism, and the confidence and ability to challenge harmful norms across the curriculum; to improve the diversity of the teaching workforce and embed anti-racist professional learning.
