Further to WQ85396, will the Minister provide a timeframe as to when the Welsh Government will publish its updated guidance to local authorities about the options available to them regarding exemptions from a council tax premium for properties restricted by a planning condition?

Answered by Minister for Finance and Local Government
If we determine that an amendment is necessary to exempt certain properties from council tax premiums, our intention would be that this will be brought into effect from 1 April 2023 alongside revised guidance.
This work is being carried out in collaboration with Siân Gwenllian MS, the Plaid Cymru designated lead member, as part of the Co-operation Agreement between the Welsh Government and Plaid Cymru.
