Question
Will the Minister provide an update on what information and support is being provided to farmers to help them measure their carbon footprint?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Climate Change
The proposed Sustainable Farming Scheme will support farmers to measure their carbon footprint. We are working with the farming unions to explore ways of supporting Low Carbon Farming and to help farmers prepare for the Scheme. Farming Connect offers a comprehensive range of support services, guidance, events, training and online tools on reducing carbon footprint and improving biodiversity for farm businesses.
