Question

Further to WQ85446, will the Minister clarify whether it is the Welsh Governments ambition to have the Doha-Cardiff service operational before the commencement of the FIFA World Cup?

I would welcome the reinstatement of this route and made personal representations to this effect when I met with the Chief Executive of Qatar Airways in May. However, this is ultimately a commercial matter for the airline.
