Question
What assessment has the Minister made to ascertain whether trunk road improvements designed to prevent standing traffic would reduce air pollution on Welsh trunk roads?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
All schemes, be they Active Travel or road, which affect the trunk road, especially the larger interventions, are subject to Environmental Assessments during their development to ensure they will reduce air pollution as one of the aims.
