Question
What is the Minister doing to improve sporting facilities in mid Wales?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Arts and Sport, and Chief Whip
Investing in sporting facilities, both elite and grassroots, is a commitment in our Programme for Government, highlighting the important link between increasing participation and the health and wellbeing of our nation. We have committed £24m in capital funding over the next three years (2022-25) to Sport Wales to develop facilities across Wales. Clubs and organisations seeking to improve their facilities can apply for support through the Be Active Wales fund and Crowdfunder scheme. Details for these schemes are available on Sport Wales’s website.
