Why has the time to register an appeal with Planning and Environment Decisions Wales been extended to 16 weeks and is there a plan to reduce this time?

Planning and Environment Decisions Wales are experiencing significant resourcing pressures. There is a strategic plan in place for 2022-23 which includes a number of actions to reduce the backlog of new appeals waiting to be validated and started.
