Question
Further to WQ86051, will the Minister provide a detailed list of the repair and maintenance works that have been performed at the Welsh Government office in Llandudno Junction in 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22 financial years separately?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Finance and Local Government
We do not hold this level of detail.
Our annual programmes of maintenance and repair work to look after building fabric, plant, equipment and all other building installations/systems and features are designed to ensure that our buildings, including our offices at Llandudno Junction, comply with statutory and health and safety requirements, retain their value as key Welsh Government assets and remain operational.
This includes potentially hundreds of items of works – from small planned preventative maintenance, servicing, minor repairs and replacements to more major works, as required.
The servicing and maintenance work undertaken is designed to avoid failure of building plant and systems, taking account of operational criticality and compliance; deliver cost efficiencies and reduce environmental impact.
