What discussions has the Minister had with South Wales Police in regards to no traffic notices being issued on the M4 between junction 24 and 28 in Newport?

My officials have been meeting regularly with the Police regarding the enforcement of the 50mph speed limit on the M4 between Junction 24 and Junction 28 in Newport.
There has been a delay in commissioning the cameras which is attributed to IT system issues within South Wales Police.
Following positive discussions with the police, we are working towards enforcement of the 50mph. When the date has been confirmed, there will be a fortnight of proactive communications to make drivers aware of enforcement action in the area.
