Question
Will the Minister investigate the success of the Plan for Employability and Skills in light of recent statistics showing that the proportion of unemployed people in Wales who have been unemployed for 12 months increased by 4.1 per cent compared to 2020/21 and 9.5 per cent compared to pre-pandemic estimates?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Economy
The Plan for Employability and Skills, published in March 2022, is accompanied by a technical annex which sets out how the actions set out in the plan contribute towards the National Indicators and National Milestones. Progress against the National Indicators and National Milestones is reported within the Wellbeing of Wales annual report and online national indicator data summaries.
