Question
Will the Minister provide a statement on whether those constituents wishing to pay the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust directly towards the cost of non-emergency travel to and from a hospital appointment are able to do so?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Health and Social Services
Patients who require transport to or from NHS appointments and meet the eligibility criteria for non-emergency patient transport services provided by the Welsh Ambulance Services Trust are not required to make any payment for their journeys.
It is not possible for members of the public to pay directly for NEPTS travel.
