What assessment has the Welsh Government made of the amount of carbon sink in peat bogs after a hectare of forest is removed?

The Implementation of an Emissions Inventory for UK Peatlands (defra.gov.uk) is used to assess emissions. The emission factor will depend upon the condition of the peatland following restoration. Table 4.1 of this report provides further information.
