Question
Will the Minister provide a year-by-year breakdown of the number of fire sprinklers fitted in new Welsh homes since 2016, and confirm if there are plans to change how this data is collected?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Climate Change
Data for the numbers of sprinklers fitted in new Welsh homes is not collected as all applications submitted under the Building Regulations 2010 for new homes since the introduction on the 1 January 2016 must incorporate them.
