Will the Minister provide an update on the number of self-employed businesses that are taking part in the young person’s guarantee?

Since the launch of the Young Person’s Guarantee in November 2021, 1,653 young people under 25 have taken part by accessing business support to become self-employed and 217 have now started a business.

75 young people have also received finance through the latest Young Person’s Guarantee Start up Grant to become self-employed.
