Question
Will the Minister confirm the amount of resource spending that has been drawn down in this financial year so far from the Wales reserve, and the total amount of resource funds currently deposited in the Wales reserve?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Finance and Local Government
The amount of resource funding drawn from the Wales Reserve in 2022-23 is £34m. That is included in current spending plans.
The balance held in the Wales Reserve stands at £264.7m currently, of which £215.8m is the resource only balance.
Funding available for draw down is limited to a maximum of £125m of resource and £50m of capital in any one year.
