What assessment has the Minister made of Powys County Council’s decision to shut leisure centres and swimming pools?

Local authorities are responsible for assessing local need for services and how they will be delivered.
The provisional local government was published on 14 December, providing local government with a 7.9% increase in core revenue funding, compared to the current year.
This has enabled Powys Council to reverse its decision to temporarily close three leisure centres and three swimming pools.
