Question
How does the Minister reconcile his saying he wants to minimise the workload for teachers, with the Director of National Association of Headteachers Cymru citing the Minister's continuous education reform agenda as a reason for the education system being at breaking point?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Education and the Welsh Language
I am fully committed to working in social partnership including through regular meetings, allowing for discussion of strategic and operational matters to help shape policy and delivery of key priorities. This includes meeting with the Director of the National Association of Headteachers Cymru.
Whilst understanding the pressures, I am fully committed to implementing reforms which will improve education provision for the workforce and learners.
