What discussions has the Minister had with her UK Government counterparts regarding extending the energy bill support scheme beyond April to households with no recourse to public funds?

My officials have discussed the issue with their counterparts in the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy who confirmed there are no plans to continue the Energy Bills Support Scheme when it concludes in March.
I have written to the Secretary of State to ask what plans the UK Government has to support vulnerable households from April onwards.
