What consideration has the Welsh Government given to supporting Dogs Trust’s call to the UK Government by temporarily removing VAT on dog food, to support dog owners affected by the cost of living crisis?

VAT in the UK is the responsibility of the UK Government. Welsh Government officials have made HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) aware of the representations from the Dogs Trust in regard to temporarily removing VAT from dog food, to support dog owners affected by the cost of living crisis.
