Will the Minister confirm whether there have been any underspends on the Active Travel Fund and, if so, what schemes the underspends were then allocated to?

This financial year, one scheme funded through the Active Travel Fund is set to underspend. As a result two other schemes have been brought forward – a pedestrian crossing in Fishguard and Dolgellau-to-Llanelltyd shared use path.

A number of local authorities have signalled that may underspend on their full allocations. The final position will be confirmed after the end of the financial year.
