Question
What assessment has the Minister made regarding the free weekend bus service from Cardiff to Storey Arms that was introduced in the fifth Senedd?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
The weekend free travel initiative on TrawsCymru bus services was offered from July 2017 to March 2020 and increased the number of passenger trips on weekends by over 35% across the network.
We are actively looking at a range of improvements to fares and ticketing arrangements across Wales to make bus travel more attractive and affordable.
