Question
What percentage has the number of car miles travelled per person reduced by since 2018?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
The number of ‘car and taxi’ miles travelled per person is estimated to have reduced by approximately 15% between 2018 and 2021. The 2021 data is likely to have been impacted by Covid-19 restrictions. 2022 data has not yet been published.
