Further to WQ86754, how many breaches of the Building Regulations 2010 have occurred due to new properties not having either sprinklers or properly installed sprinklers since the regulations came into effect on 1st January 2016?

Answered by Minister for Climate Change
Enforcement in relation to sprinklers installed in new properties since 2016 is undertaken by local authority building control departments in Wales under the Building Act 1984. As such data for the number of breaches of the Building Regulations 2010 that have occurred is not collected on a national basis.
