What consideration has the Welsh Government given to the potential for the mandatory microchipping of pet cats, as has been implemented in England?

Our Animal Welfare Plan for Wales 2021-26 makes a commitment to consider the extension of compulsory microchipping to include kittens and cats. Any proposed changes would be subject to a full public consultation.
